A good case study should help you make the next decision.

Finished photography is useful, but project buyers need more than inspiration. They need to understand why a finish was selected, where joints were accepted, which edges remained visible, whether pieces were supplied as slabs or fabricated components, and how the shipment was divided for installation.

That is why these files combine design intent with application detail. They are not guarantees that one material or thickness suits every project; they are references for the questions that should be resolved before quotation and cutting.

03 / From reference to release

What happens after you send the reference image?

We turn a broad enquiry into a package that can be priced, fabricated, packed and handed to a local installer without hiding the important assumptions.

    Define the surface job

    We list every application separately: horizontal or vertical, dry or wet, interior or exterior, fixed panel or moving furniture face. This prevents a single colour choice from being mistaken for a complete specification.

    Confirm the visual direction

    We compare reference images with available products, finishes and slab formats, then identify what requires a physical sample, full-slab photograph, translucency test or face-sequence approval.

    Resolve pieces and interfaces

    For fabricated scope, the drawings must show finished sizes, openings, edges, returns, mitres, face direction and tolerances. Site dimensions and supporting construction remain clearly assigned.

    Quote without hidden assumptions

    Material, fabrication, packaging and freight are separated. Quantity basis, spare allowance, trade term, destination, unloading expectation and exclusions are written into the quotation.

    Release, label and pack

    Approved pieces are grouped by room, elevation or installation sequence. Labels, crate lists, edge protection and loading order are planned around how the shipment will be received and distributed on site.

What project buyers usually need to confirm.

The answers depend on application, destination and fabrication responsibility. These are the questions that prevent a visually attractive selection from becoming an incomplete order.

Are the photographed products exact colour guarantees? +
No. A project photograph is a design reference affected by lighting, camera settings, screen colour and the production batch. We use it to understand the intended direction, then confirm the current product, finish and slab appearance with samples or approval images before an order is released.
What information produces a useful project quotation? +
Send the application, approximate finished sizes or drawings, quantity, preferred product and finish, thickness if known, fabrication expectation, destination, required trade term and target timing. If some information is missing, we can issue a budget direction while clearly marking the assumptions that still need confirmation.
Can Funtek supply slabs and fabricated pieces in the same project? +
Yes, when the scope is separated clearly. Standard slabs may be allocated for local cutting while selected items are fabricated at the factory. The quotation and packing list should identify which party verifies site dimensions, prepares final drawings and accepts installation tolerances.
How do you plan packing for several rooms or elevations? +
We need the site sequence before packing. Pieces can be labelled and grouped by room, floor, elevation or installation phase, with crate lists that help the receiving team locate material without opening every package. Unloading equipment, access limits and storage conditions should be confirmed before the shipment is booked.
