01 / SLAB FORMING

Full slabs to your specification.

Funtek operates 3 sintered stone production lines on a 2,200-mu factory site. The SACMI CONTINUA+ PCR 2000 system uses continuous compaction to form slabs for surface processing and sintering.

Tell us the surface, slab dimensions, thickness and quantity you need. We confirm stock supply or a production schedule for your order. For fabricators and furniture manufacturers, slab selection takes the finished-piece layout and application into account.

Order quantity

Record the slab quantity and production requirements in the purchase order.

02 / SURFACE PRODUCTION

Surface selection for your market.

Glazing and digital printing equipment support the production of patterned sintered stone surfaces. Buyers can review marble-look, stone-look, wood-look and solid-color options for their product range or project. The selected surface must be available in the required format and thickness.

We provide product selection and sample support before order confirmation. Review the finish on a sample and the pattern on a full-slab reference. For countertops, feature walls and furniture, we help check vein direction and piece positions against the drawing. The approved reference is recorded with the order.

03 / SINTERING

Production planning for your order.

The kiln facilities support slab sintering. See the sintered stone manufacturing process from material preparation to dispatch. Roller transport, firing equipment and access platforms form part of the production installation.

Estimated preparation time for stock orders is 7–14 days after confirmation, including dispatch arrangements. Standard orders requiring production have an estimated time of 25–30 days to reach ready-to-ship status. These periods cover order preparation; transit time depends on the shipment.

Timing for special surfaces, custom fabrication and phased deliveries is confirmed against the order requirements. Before order placement, we confirm specifications, quantities, packing requirements and the estimated ready-to-ship date.

04 / AUTOMATION & HANDLING

Handling equipment for large-format slabs.

The workshop uses robotic arms, suction lifting equipment and roller conveyors to transfer slabs between operations. Equipment stations have control cabinets and operator panels. These facilities support the handling requirements of full-size slabs during production.

For your order, slab dimensions and thickness are confirmed with the material specification. Packing and handling requirements are reviewed for the supplied format. This review includes the equipment and space required at the receiving location.

05 / CUTTING & FABRICATION

Cut-to-size components for your application.

Funtek coordinates full-slab supply and fabrication to customer drawings. Work available for assessment includes cut-to-size pieces, sink and equipment cutouts, edge trimming, chamfers, and 45° mitre cuts and jointing solutions.

Before fabrication, we confirm finished dimensions, slab thickness, cutout positions, edge profiles, pattern direction and delivery form. Complex shapes, special cutouts and jointed components require drawing review to confirm feasibility, pricing and lead time. Review countertop edge profiles when preparing your drawing.

The quotation identifies the fabricator, fabrication location and delivery scope. It specifies whether the order covers full slabs, prefabricated components or bonded assemblies, and whether site installation is included.

06 / SAMPLE & ORDER CHECKS

Inspection requirements agreed with you.

Order checks cover the approved surface reference, dimensions, thickness, quantity and packing requirements. Request the product documents needed for your application during quotation.

ISO 10545-2 describes methods for measuring dimensions and surface quality, including length, width, thickness, straightness of sides, rectangularity and flatness. ISO 10545-3 covers water absorption, apparent porosity and density measurements. ISO 10545-4 covers modulus of rupture and breaking strength.

ISO 9001 is a standard for an organization’s quality management system. The certificates and test report library provides documents for review. The standards listed here identify the scope of document review; product test results and certification status are established by the applicable reports and certificates.

07 / SLAB STORAGE

Stock coordination for slab supply.

The warehouse contains slab racks, identified storage sections and overhead lifting equipment. These areas support product selection, material handling and order preparation for full-slab supply.

Mixed-surface orders are assessed against stock availability, slab specifications and packing conditions. Combinations of thicknesses or sizes require confirmation of separate rack packing and container arrangements.

08 / EXPORT PACKING

Packing specified for your shipment.

Funtek coordinates export packing for full slabs and fabricated pieces. Frame or crate requirements are selected for the material dimensions, quantity and handling plan. The warehouse provides space for packed goods and dispatch preparation.

We confirm protective materials and shipping marks before dispatch. Fabricated pieces require packing that accounts for edges, cutouts and part identification. Packing information supports your receiving team with quantity checks and unloading preparation.

09 / LOADING & DISPATCH

Container loading and export coordination.

Overhead lifting equipment and forklifts support warehouse transport and container loading. Slabs and crates are handled according to their dimensions and packing configuration. The dispatch team prepares the goods for the agreed shipment. Use the 20GP slab loading guide to review reference quantities, packing and weight.

We coordinate container planning, packing lists, shipping marks and required export documents. Send the destination and delivery terms with your enquiry. The loading plan takes the packed dimensions and shipment weight into account; the receiving team confirms its unloading arrangements.
